International group in Bulderby

Bulderby has an international group for children who use English in their daily lives at home. This is a part-time offer, which means that the children also spend part of the day together with the rest of Bulderby’s children.

If a family intends to stay in Denmark and expects their child to attend a mainstream Danish public school, the international group is not a relevant option.

Parents who choose the international group in Bulderby should be aware that the number of children may vary considerably. It is important that all children experience being part of inclusive communities where play, learning, and development are central. During some periods, we may have no or very few children enrolled in the international group. In such cases, the children will be included in the mainstream kindergarten, always with a focus on the child’s well-being and language skills. When it is not possible to establish an international group due to too few enrolments, the child will be placed in a mainstream kindergarten group and will always be in an environment where the adults can communicate with the child in English.
